Harry Edward Styles - also called Harry Styles - is a British musician and composer. Harry Styles has been recognized for his compositions for The One Direction band. He was born at Holmes Chapel (Cheshire), England, on 1 February 1994, he is the son Des Styles, and Anne Cox. Harry Styles studied at the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School in which he started his own group of musicians with three classmates, which was dubbed the White Eskimo. They participated in the Battle of Bands where thanks to their impressive performances they won. Though he's been attracted to music, he also aspired to become an lawyer or physical therapist. Working part-time in a local bakery in his early occupation in order to provide for his family. For the year 2010 Harry Styles presented audition for The X Factor where he did the track Is not She Lovely by Stevie Wonder and was selected. The group was then forced to break up due to this. Following the audition on The X Factor the jury Nicole Scherzinger suggested that Harry Styles be part of the group that was to be dubbed One Direction along with Liam Payne Zayn Malik Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson. Simon Cowell sponsored this five-person group and they were created in the year 2010. They performed the song Kelly Clarkson's My Life Would be Sucking Without You together with Bonnie Tyler Total Eclipse of the Heart. In result, they were among the finalist. But they finished placed third behind Rebecca Ferguson and winner Matt Cardle. Harry Styles' group didn't take home the prize, however Cowell nevertheless paid 2 million pounds in cash to One Direction for them to make a deal with Syco.
