Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy is a 16-year old American who was from Miami Florida. A half English and half Spanish her parents are Dennis Alan Taylor a former banker as well as Jennifer Marina Joy a psychologist. His father was Argentine and Scottish English descent. Her mother is of Spanish as well as English heritage. Taylor-Joy, who is youngest of five children, four were born to Taylor's father's previous marriage. The family was within Buenos Aires until she was six then relocated to the Victoria region of London. Taylor Joy admitted that the transition from Buenos Aires to Victoria was a struggle and she was not able to take the time to learn English in hopes of going back to Argentina. Hill House was the new school she had to attend after she left Northlands. Then she enrolled in Queen's Gate School, where she learned dance and participated in productions. At 16, she left the school to take on acting as a profession. Taylor-Joy has always known she wanted to work as an actor. Her dream was granted a chance by Sarah Doukas founder of Storm Management she offered her a job as a model.
