Nicky Whelan has been an Australian actress, model, and television personality since 10th May 1981. The actress gained fame in Australia for her role as Pepper Steiger which she played in the soap show Neighbors for a total of 100 episodes broadcast between 2006 and 2007. The actress arrived in Hollywood by way of two different projects. The first was the comedy choral Hollywood & Wine where she played a young actress making her debut in Hollywood. Then she was offered a part as Maya, a very seductive medical student in Scrubs in the 9th season. The show was abruptly cut off. Then she continued to film a Farrelly Brothers comedy Good to Shoot, starring Jason Sudeikis as well as Owen Wilson. Then she played in B-series film and series shorts. The year 2013 brought greater exposure. She was featured in seven episodes on Franklin and Bash and landed her first ever regular part, in Chosen. Milo Ventimiglia played the leading role. The show also features her as Chad Michael Murray's reply to the show's first and the second seasons. Following that, she landed support roles in two wonderful feature films set in airplanes One was a TV film produced for the SyFy channel Flight 7500 The One Way Back with a cast of TV actors and the second is the action film Le Chaos, carried by Nicolas Cage.
